Mr. Davis is tax attorney and active member of the State Bar of Georgia, as well as a licensed CPA in Georgia. He is a native of Charleston, SC and a 1989 graduate of The Citadel. After undergrad, Jeff completed his Juris Doctorate and Masters in Business Administration in 1993 at the University of South Carolina. Following law school, Jeff moved to Atlanta where he worked in the Personal Financial Planning groups of KPMG & PricewaterhouseCoopers, as well as the Atlanta law firm of King & Spalding. Jeff also co-founded the Atlanta office of myCFO, a family office technology firm based out of Mountain View, California, and was a founder of two Atlanta based family office, independent management, and technology firms, StillPoint Advisors & Apogee Family Office.
In recent years, Jeff has turned his attention to the non-profit world working with K-12 private schools helping them successfully implement tax credit subsidies which provide greatly needed scholarships for children with “special needs”. He is a strong advocate for children and their educational needs, and advocates against government interference in their education. Jeff believes it is our duty to stand strong in the gap protecting our K-12 educational institutions (public, private, online and home school) from unnecessary government intrusion and overreach.
Jeff began his career in 1989 with Charleston Investment Corporation, a family office for a New York based merchant banker.
